To follow up on my post yesterday, this is Melitta, who’s tent was destroyed in the storm. ![]()

We blessed her with a donation from a brother in Christ and bought from her hand made, NC sourced material bags. It was so much fun!! ![]()

She felt the love of Jesus and so did we!! Thank you Family for being the Family of God today!!
A friend and I went to the Farmers Market in Raleigh and got to pray for a vendor whose tent was totally destroyed in the storm that came through today.![]()

She was heartbroken and in tears watching the handmade purses that she’d spent the last 3 months creating get soaked by rainwater and damaged by the wind.![]()

She felt the peace of the Lord as we prayed and encouraged to take the night and assess/wash/recover and then back out tomorrow with a borrowed tent in hope that she can recoup.![]()

Tony and the kids and I are headed back down in the morning to follow through and support her in any way we can.![]()

Usually, I’d say a prayer and move on with my own life, but somehow this time it doesn’t feel like enough. I’m reminded that the gospel isn’t words alone, but action, love, and power directed by Holy Spirit.![]()
